Points Allocation - IFCS 2022 Qualifiers

Points are allocated as follows:

There will be no points allocated to runs outside of the course time (time faults).

Points are allocated to at least 20% of entries, or to 3rd place, whichever is higher.

The dog and handler with the most points at each height will gain an automatic win on spot (not applicable to '300 Plus' and '400 Plus' dogs who are only eligible to accumulate points).

Additional handlers and dogs will be selected to attend a team try out day from all remaining dogs and handlers who have run at least one qualifier through the season.

Invite to the team try out day will include consideration of the following:

  • Speed

  • Overall performance

  • Handling skills (including games skills: Gamblers & Snooker)

  • The dog’s ability and comfort to jump the required height

Handlers and dogs who were selected for the 2020 team will gain automatic selection for the team try out day if they attend 6 days of qualifiers. (The 2020 Team was unable to compete in 2020 or 2021 due to cancellation of the World Championships due to COVID.)

The cost will be £15 for those invited to attend the team try out day which will be held at Half Moon Stud, Dorset 16th October 2021.

The 2022 IFCS World Agility Championships will be held 27th April – 1st May 2022 in Hellendoorn, Netherlands.
