The FAB
Grand Slam Tournament
Rules & Qualifying Information
Thank you to our fantastic sponsors including:
General:
-
Points will be awarded separately for each individual height (Petite, Small, Medium, Intermediate and Large).
-
Qualification points leagues will be available to view on Agility Plaza throughout the season.
-
Points will be awarded to the top 10 dogs in all KC (Combined & Graded) classes and FAB independent steeplechase classes at FAB shows throughout the season (May – September) with 10 points for 1st place, 9 points for 2nd, etc. Points will be awarded up to the 10th dog regardless of where the official class placings go to. [for Tunnel Exchange Qualifications – see below]
-
If your dog wins into a grade/level in the next bracket during the season you will move up to that league and any points already accumulated will be carried with your dog. Qualification will be based on the grade/level the dog is competing in at the last FAB show in September. (For example, for the standard Agility you start the season at G3, but win up to G4, your dog’s points will transfer to the G4-5 league for qualification and this will be class you would run in if you successfully qualify for the Grand Slam.)
-
Classes at the FAB Grand Slam Tournament in November will run under KC Rules as per schedule.
-
Handlers can qualify more than one dog.
