A new, innovative and exciting way to teach stopped contacts. Enjoy teaching everything your dog needs to know without the expense of contacts at home. This is the first time Dawn has released her system of 'stopping' her dogs via video link (terms & conditions apply). The benefits of teaching stops in this way are:

- You don't need contact equipment since everything your dog needs to know about stops, releasing and proofing against handler movement will be taught away from the contacts.

- This is a shaped behaviour which means it will be a very strong behaviour that is well understood by your dog.

- It stride-regulates your dog so that he is much less likely to creep down contacts.

- It teaches your dog rear-end awareness rather than front-end awareness as would happen with teaching using any form of a 'target'.

- There is nothing to fade which makes life much easier for the dog and the handler!

- By teaching the dog away from the contacts, no worry will be attached to the contacts themselves as by the time the behaviour is transferred the dog knows everything already. If you try and teach things on the contacts themselves you are bound to worry your dog.

- You are teaching your dog the actual behaviour you want at the end of a contact - this is to weight-shift and hang on with the back feet. Not producing a behaviour that you don't actually want - like nose-touching for example.

- Even young pups of 4 months upwards can start to learn this way as it doesn't involve contacts till the end.
